HS3 – Health and Safety for window cleaners is not simply a generic health & safety course. This course is tailored specifically for the window cleaner, and deal with the sorts of H&S issues that window cleaners face in the course of their work. The course includes practical discussion on managing the health & safety of oneself and employees, as well as professional tips on reducing risk without affecting productivity.
Regulations which affect window cleaners are also given consideration including obligations under Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences (RIDDOR) and those affecting the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
HS3 is a popular and very useful certification to have, and window cleaners often report that they have been awarded commercial work on the strength of their HS3 qualification.
This course will be useful to a wide range of window cleaners and is just as appropriate for newcomers to the trade as for those with many years experience.
